Chinook Yurt at Vernonia SpringsOur yurts and wall tents are truly something special and redefine what “Glamping” is all about!  We looked at every yurt manufacturer in the U.S. and went with Pacific Yurts out of Cottage Grove Oregon.  There simply isn’t a nicer yurt made anywhere.  Each of our five yurts are 200 sq. ft. and exceptionally clean and well maintained.  Each yurt has: queen bed, Yurt for rent at Vernonia Sprigsquality comforter, sheets, pillows and towels.  Also included is heater, lighting and power to recharge your phone and or computer.  Complimentary WiFi is included.  Check out our healthy and value priced menu options for food prepared on site in our licensed food cart.  Rates assume two people will occupy yurt.  See below for additional fees for more than two guests (with a max of 4  guests per yurt).

The canvas wall tent we have for rent is the highest quality available (more wall tents coming in the future).  A local company by the name Beckel Tents has been producing these tents for over 50 years in SE Portland. The 12' x 12' (144 sq. ft) wall tent is set up on an elevated platform and supported by a rough sawn cedar internal frame.  All the wood was harvested and milled locally.  This is as good as it gets for tent Glamping!  The tent includes: queen air bed with memory foam top (very comfortable), quality comforter, sheets, pillows and towels.  Also included is lighting and power to recharge your phone.  Complimentary Osprey yurt and hillbilly tent at vernonia springsWiFi is included.  Select the "Wall Tent Rentals" tab below to search Bobcat yurt at Vernonia Springsavailability.  Rates assume 2 people will occupy tent.  See below for additional fees for guests above 2 with a maximum of 4 per tent.

The gas BBQ and utensils (spatula, silverware, plates and refrigerator) are available for guest use when staying the night so you can have your own cookout.  No cooking is allowed inside yurts or tents and should be done outside.  If you want to avoid having to pack food, check out our food cart menu offering high-quality meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our yurts and tents don’t have running water, but our nearby modern and exceptionally clean bathroom and shower building offers individual locking shower and bathroom units so you don’t have to share with others while in use. We pride ourselves in maintaining the cleanest facilities you will ever see at an outdoor facility like this.

Additional Guests:

Not suitable for children 0-2 years of age.  We are currently in the process of evaluating whether we will allow kids ages 0-12 in the future.  By all means, if you have well-behaved children we would enjoy seeing them out here.  Keep in mind we are a small facility which promotes peace, quiet and relaxation for our guests.  If your kids will have a difficult time relaxing then Vernonia Springs probably is not a great place for them.  Quoted rates are for two people.  Add $20 per person per night for guests three and four.  $20 fee includes hideabed setup, sheets, pillow, comforter and towel.  If you won't need any hideabeds please indicate during checkout in the note section.

PETS:
No pets are allowed on the Vernonia Springs grounds or inside any of the yurts, tents or other buildings.  In 2018 we are trying a bit of an experiment for folks that don't mind having their dogs sleeping in their cars.  Because the Banks-Vernonia State Trail runs through our property, this provides a convenient place to take your dogs for a walk while you are here.  Keeping your dogs in your car may not work for some people, but it may work very well for others who are here for a short stay and who really like to travel with their dogs.  Dogs must be on leash at all times while on the trail.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.  The lodge is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 am for breakfast and 7:00 am to 8:00 pm for using services.

No smoking is permitted on the property or in any of the buildings, yurts or tents.

Please place any garbage in the proper waste receptacle and all recycling in the proper recycling bins.
