As close as these salmon are to extinction, we are thankful to have these beautiful fish choose Vernonia Springs as their spawning ground. They travel over 100 miles from Nehalem Bay up the Nehalem River to Beaver Creek, often in less than six inches of water. Truly is a miracle.
