Special thanks to new friends from Iceland

I had the great pleasure of hanging out with two guests from Iceland. Jon and Edda took a direct flight from Iceland to Portland. Next they rode their bikes from Hillsboro to Vernonia Springs and then the following day left for Astoria. From there they are onto Northern California via Hwy 101. When you have two people from a country with a total population of only 365,000, you feel pretty lucky to hear first hand what life is like on this chilly little island. It sounds like fishing and sheep is a big part of Iceland’s culture. Jon and Edda left me this very nice bottle of vodka made in Iceland. Now waiting for the perfect occasion to enjoy it! Thanks again Jon and Edda!
